Congratulations To Our 2017 POWER Graduates
Thirty-two participants in our POWER Program completed a comprehensive, twenty-six week professional home day care training program here at Waterbury Youth Services. A graduation ceremony was held to celebrate their success! The program assists participants in acquiring the skills and licenses to operate their own business or work in the area of childcare! Congratulation to all of our graduates!!
Celebrating Excellence In Youth
Parents, teachers and friends, along with Waterbury Youth Services' staff and board members, came together to celebrate excellence in youth! These special young people were recognized for demonstrating outstanding character in one of our four “Character” categories: Citizenship, Community Service, Initiative & Leadership. Congratulations to all of the award recipients and a very special thank you to the American Savings Foundation for making this event possible each year by their generous sponsorship!
