What is ETV?
ETV is an Education Training Voucher that helps fund the cost of attending a post-secondary institution, including tuition, technology, and various supports.
What is the goal?
The ETV is to help support foster youth in continuing their educational training after being affected by the pandemic.
Who is eligible to receive the voucher?
• Youth who have been in foster care and are now between the ages of 18-22.
• Youth living in Connecticut and can demonstrate prior involvement in the foster care system.
• Youth who had been on track to attend or were attending post-secondary institutions or programs but had their education interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.Who funds ETV?
Funding is provided by Connecticut Department of Children and Families.
